Advanced Learning EXperience (ALEX)
ALEX Maker Space is a combination of student laboratory, student research center and project workshop. It offers an alternative learning environment to convey traditional curricular content in a new way, and creates cross-curricular connections between sciences (STEM), humanities, and art.
In addition to traditional woodworking and crafting, students can learn the basics of the digital world, from robot programming and CAD design to computer-assisted manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing.
The space fosters innovation through hands-on experimentation, and encourages students to continuously explore, design, experiment, and build.
