Christmas Market
The 45th edition of the AvH Christmas Market was a tremendous success. More than 3,000 visitors came together to celebrate the magic of the holiday season in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our community, we shared:
– 1,600 pretzels
– 1,400 sausages
– nearly 200 L of Glühwein
– more than 80 Advent wreaths
– $13,000 in prizes offered through the tombola organized by the Friends of AvH

A Beloved Holiday Tradition in Montreal
The AvH German Christmas Market is delighted to announce its next edition on Sunday, November 29, 2026. Celebrating its 46th anniversary, this cherished community tradition has been bringing the warmth and magic of the holiday season to Montreal for decades.
Inspired by traditional Christmas markets in Germany, this much‑anticipated annual event transforms AvH School into a festive winter celebration featuring over 90 exhibitors, offering a wide variety of artisanal crafts, gifts, and delicious holiday treats.

The online auction will open on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM and close on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 8:00 PM (EST).
